Knicks are stacked: Get Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups

SO MUCH DRAMA for yo' mama this season. Carmelo Anthony finally got trade to the east coast. The All Star player, who had been in talks with the New Jersey Nets all season, decided to take his talents to the New York Knicks.

The Knicks also get Chauncey Billups, who is a great point guard, Anthony Carter, (C)Shelden Williams and (F) Renaldo Balkman.

Denver in return gets (F)Danilo Gallinari, (F) Wilson Chandler, (PG) Raymond Felton, Mozgov, the Knicks' first-round pick in 2014, and second-round picks in the 2012 and 2013 drafts that originally belonged to the Warriors.

Is a big trade for the Knicks. After acquiring Amar'e Stoudemire in the offseason Knicks GM Donnie Walsh has been trying to get another A-List player to come to New York.

A lot of players thought Carmelo would join the Knicks this season. Also why the Nets were hesitant to pull the trigger when it came to acquiring him during the 1st half of the season.

According to sources in the NBA though, it seems the Nets have interest in Danilo Gallinari, a gun-slinging Italian small forward, who can be a deadly shooter when he is on and a detriment when he is not.

The Denver Nuggets go into a rebuilding mode, get a lot of $alary cap $pace and multiple draft picks.

The Knicks get a proven player in 'Melo and a deadly steady point guard in Billups.
The only thing I see as difficult is having 2 players ('Melo and Amar'e) who need the ball to score.
It will be difficult to see them create for each other. Also, one can't ignore the fact that they are not good defenders.
