I have the Sony Zeiss 35mm f/2.8, but I feel like I need a lens around that size that is able to get better low light shots. This is where the Konica 40mm f/1.8 comes in.
I got it online with the FC-1 Konica camera for $40 including S&H. The lens has a few specs of dirt inside, but nothing that damages the IQ or comes up in the image.
I was really surprised how well it handled under the different lighting scenarios. I did notice the lens is not as contrasty as other newer lenses, but this is easily remedied using Light Room or any other editing software. I thought it handled itself at 1.8 quite well under close shots and 2.0 and higher when going over three feet.
This is my first time using the lens. Please, be kind!
