Sunset from Schnebly's Winery - Konica 40mm f/1.8
This past weekend I met one of my instagram followers, German. We have Maria (my photography friend) in common. He's kind of new to photography, and it was cool exploring with someone who wants to view the world through a lens.
We went to Cauley Square, which I have gone to before, and looked around. We were able to take a couple of shots, which was cool. I also took a shot of German.
It seemed like they were setting up for a wedding on this day and they were prepping the area for a big bash. That's were I got the suitcase shots from.
There's a shop there that used to have a lot of racoons. The animals were polite since the lady who used to own the shop fed them cat food and they were accustomed to humans being around. Sadly, the lady had a stroke and her or her family sold the shop.
According to the new shop owner, Cauley Square management called animal control and they took over 100 racoons out of the area. A lot of them were living under the store.
I'm saddened by this. It was one of the perks of taking people there.
We later went to Redland Market Village: Bargain Town. This place has a couple of names: Redland Fresh Market, Redland Fleamarket, Redland Bargain Town, to name some.
This area between Miami and Homestead is generally populated by Central and South Americans. I like the colors in their communities. The natural fruits and decorations are heavily saturated in color. Not to mention a lot of people are about with different expressions and many with their families.
We later went to one of my favorite restaurants in Homestead, La Cruzada. During dinner we decied to go for a beer at Redland's Schnebly's Winery. Yes, it's a winery. Yes, they make and sell their own beer.
